| This call for a boycott on May 1st is an attempt by this left wing group to impose its agenda on the people of the United States.
International ANSWER was organized on September 14, 2001, just three days after the attacks on the World Trade Center, by the Workers World Party, an organization described by even some "progressives" as an "ultra-left, sectarian, marginal group."
This boycott is promoted as an opportunity to show the 285 million citizens of the US the economic impact of the estimated 10.5 illegal immigrants on our nation. What it really is is the co-opting of the immigrant community, both legal and illegal, for the express purpose of advancing the goals of this Marxist group.
What are it's goals? The destruction of capitalist economic systems like the United States. The very system that has made the US the richest nation on the face of the earth and given it the wealth to support and assist less fortunate and distressed nations around the world.
The very system that peoples from the world over dream and work and struggle to be a part of. Yes, the same economic system whose laws the illegal immigrants have broken to become a part of.
And now the WWP and ANSWER have duped these people into becoming a part of their plan to destroy America, the people who so desperately desire to come here have been hoodwinked into an attempt to effectively reek havoc on her economy.
On September 11, 19 hijackers and terrorists created an economic impact of $1.2 Trillion on the US stock market and a conservative estimate of a minimum of $200 Billion in losses of infrastructure, lost wages and lost sales. It took the US about 3 years to begin to recover from these attacks.
Now on May 1st the Workers World Party wants to attempt to recreate that impact through a boycott of our economy for a day. While we don't expect their boycott to have much impact, that they will use this issue as a cover for their agenda is unconscionable.
To them we say NO! We will not let you have our economy or our way of life! Together we Boycotted the Boycott, now the real work begins. |
