Boycott the Boycott!
Take a stand for America!

You can make your voice heard simply by a little planning in your everyday activities and by doing the things you always do, just be sure to plan to do them on May 1st!

Do you work, be sure to be there and do your job. Maybe you would sometimes consider calling in sick because you don't feel up to par or are tired, on May 1st put out a little extra effort and go anyway. By being reliable and responsible you will show your employer you are important to his business and you want to see him succeed, even if others boycott him.

Do you attend school? On this day be sure you are in attendance! Let your teachers and administrators know you are there to show them you want your voice heard. Let them know you realize your education is an important privilege as a US citizen and you value it!

In your daily and weekly buying and shopping patterns:

  • Plan ahead, if you normally shop for groceries on Thursday, Friday or Saturday plan ahead, buy a little extra the week before so you can wait and do your weekly shopping on Monday, May 1st.
  • Need to buy gas earlier than Monday, May 1st? Only gas up enough to get through the weekend, then on Monday, May 1st...fill 'er up!
  • Planning a major purchase in the next few days or weeks? Hold off a bit longer and make that purchase on Monday, May 1st. It won't kill you to wait and the message you send your representatives will be worth far more than the discomfort of the wait.
  • Planning on doing some yard work or home maintenance the weekend after May 1st? Go ahead and buy your supplies and tools on Monday, May 1st...and send a message in the process.
  • It's springtime, maybe you are needing to replace that worn out lawn mower...but it on Monday, May 1st!
  • Write and call your Congressman or Senator and the White House. Tell them you are going to Boycott the Boycott to send him a message. And tell him or her you expect them to represent you, their constituent and a voting citizen of this nation and not those who flaunt the laws of our country. Here are links to:

I'm not sure what to write or say....

  • Get involved, take part! This is your opportunity to send a message to your representatives that you are fed up with their failure to secure our country and deal with these problems in a positive way. It doesn't take much effort, but you have to decide to do your part.

Together we Boycotted the Boycott, now the real work begins.
