Right now you may be wondering, "what can I do? What kind of impact can I have?" Consider this; the WWP thinks that 10.5 million illegal immigrants and their left wing supporters can have a crippling effect on the US economy by opting out of the economy for one day.
They want them to walk out of school, walk away from the job and refuse to buy or sell anything. In doing so the Workers World Party and their underlings, International ANSWER, think that they can get the attention of the US Congress and blackmail them into passing legislation that will exempt the illegals from the immigration laws of our nation.
But you can make a difference and make your economic voice heard! There are only 10.5 million of them, there are 285 million citizens both naturalized and born here. That's a ratio of 27 to 1! All we have to do is a small bit of planning and we can show them and our Congressmen and Senators, and yes, even President Bush, that the citizens of this great land will have our voices heard. We will not be ignored.
Our borders are important, the security of our nation is important, and the laws of our land, laws set in place to protect our nation and her people, are important and must be adhered to. While the politicians put their figurative fingers in the air and test the political breezes,
We The People know what is right and we expect our elected officials to do what is right, not for political reasons but because it is the right thing to do.
To the WWP and ANSWER we say NO! We will not let you have our economy or our way of life!
To our elected officials we say, "Listen to us, your constituents, the people who vote, the citizens of your states and preceints! We will hold your feet to the fire and hold you accountable to secure our borders and uphold our laws."
